This is a personal archive of band photos from vinyl record sleeves — specifically the ones that are gloriously, unironically nerdy. The ones where the band clearly had complete creative control and absolutely zero outside opinion.

Every record here is personally owned. Every photo was photographed from the actual sleeve. No stock images, no Wikipedia crops — just an iPhone camera and a deep appreciation for late-70s hair volume decisions.

A qualifying photo typically features one or more of the following:

• Turtlenecks worn with unshakeable confidence
• Collective gazes fixed on distances only the band can perceive
• Hair doing measurable structural work
• Outfits that required a band meeting to coordinate
• An expression suggesting the limo is already waiting
• The faint impression that a concept album is imminent
